If You're Dating While Pregnant, These 3 Women Know Exactly How You're Feeling

I've never used Tinder before, but I've had friends who have, and I've noticed that people who use the app seem to be oddly specific about their "requirements". It's always seemed strange to me, to list out the qualities you're looking for as if you're intending to interview people for a position on your team of booty calls or prospective life partners. I know there are always qualities that people look for in their potential spouses, such as religious or political views that are in line with their own, or physical traits that they find most appealing.

But to list out specific hairstyles, eye colors, and height, is just plain weird. When you're on Tinder and you're pregnant and picky , all I have to say is good luck. While I admire women who are willing to put themselves out there, my inner mean girl can't help but judge pregnant ladies on Tinder. It's not that I think women shouldn't be allowed to date while they're pregnant, but let's be real, most people on Tinder are simply looking for a hookup. If having a little hanky-panky with strange people you've never met is your thing, that's cool.

But maybe wait until after you have your baby to actively search for it. If any of these ladies contracted an STI, it could harm their unborn baby. The risks outweigh the benefits. It seems some mamas-to-be don't quite grasp the concept of Tinder. If you're happily married, and you're open about it on your profile, what are you even doing? And if you're simply looking for a friend, you might try a different app.

Raging hormones, possible baby daddy drama, and a whole lot of baggage No thanks. There's a reason it's best to procreate with someone you've really bonded with because when women are pregnant, we tend to turn into nut-bags for the better part of a year. To expect someone to jump in bed or into a relationship with you while you're going through such a serious time in your life is asking a lot of someone who has never met you.

This girl is holding a beer while talking about how she can't drink for a few more months. If it's a joke, I approve. I'd be her friend. Pregnant women do need lovin' too. Pregnancy doesn't suddenly halt our desires as women. But like I said before, good luck! I'm sure she's an awesome person to be around, and it's not that I think she won't be able to find someone who thinks she's amazing. But when I think of people on Tinder, I don't picture honest, friendly people who are looking to hang out with someone based on their personality and morals.

I don't think people will be willing to look past her big belly and have some honest fun, whether it's hanging out or, you know, doing the deed. I'd talk to her though, as a friend of course. Olivia, people are asking if you're really pregnant because you're fourteen-years-old! It throws people off. This honestly makes me so sad. She's so young, and I have nothing against teen moms, but I can't help but feel bad for this girl.

She's going to miss out on so much because she has to grow up so fast, and she clearly needs some guidance and direction. She's pregnant at fourteen-years-old and she's on Tinder. In her bra. That's pretty scary. Is she even allowed to use this app? Where are her parents? This is just insanity! I really hope her parents figure out what she's up to so she can get the help she needs.

This is just not okay. I'm not sure what I would do if I caught my daughter on Tinder with pictures of her in her bra. I know she wouldn't have a phone for a long time. That would be a good place to start. The fact that she is pregnant wouldn't be the reason why I'd swipe left on her if I were a man. Yeah, I know, I'm a jerk. I just think it's played out. Oh you like donuts and cuddles? So does everyone else in the world. You're not cute or unique for liking 2 generic things that everyone else likes.

Then she follows it up by saying her Porsche is her life. I can't stand materialistic people. And she's 18, so you know she didn't pay for it herself. To top it all off, she's in her third trimester? Oh no no no. This girl needs a serious reality check, and I'm sure she got it by putting herself out there online. This girl is super rude. She knows what she wants and you can tell she's been around the block a few times by the way she demands things. She's willing to hook up, but only if you can make her laugh.

You're not allowed to ask her about her baby, even though that's a huge part of her life. Her baby literally is a part of her right now. Unless she's open to hooking up with men who have strict requirements too, she doesn't have the right to be so demanding. I wonder how she'd react if she came across a profile that said "Not looking for hookups with girls who are over lbs" or "Don't ask me what I do for a living, it's not your business.

If she thinks she's her bluntness is sexy, she has another thing coming. It comes across as rude, and I'm sure she only received messages from guys who think way too highly of themselves. I like her confidence, and there's nothing super wrong with this girl's profile from what I can tell. You know, other than being pregnant and really into herself.

I wonder what she does for a living. It's pretty rare to be a single, year-old self-employed pregnant girl. I'd probably at least try to get to know her, just out of curiosity. At least she's not demanding and obnoxious. I wonder how well her confidence will fare in once she's further along because she looks like she's still in the second trimester. By then she might not only lose her confidence in her physical appearance, but she might even lose her sense of humor as well.

Hopefully, she made it through without going too crazy, and maybe she even found someone who wants a pregnant-but-still-hot comedian. I like how she dropped the pregnancy bomb at the end, almost as if it was simply an afterthought. I mean, being a mom-to-be doesn't completely define who you are as a person, but it's a pretty big deal! It's not just some little tidbit of information about her, it's a big part of her life.

The way she mentions it at the end is pretty funny, and it really downplays her situation. Saying she's a nice person until you get on her bad side is another one of those overused statements that irritate me. Everybody is like that, that's not a trait that's exclusive to her. Her family is everything to her and she would do anything for them? What a unique woman. I don't know anyone else who feels that way!

Sarcasm is hard to convey through writing, but I assume you can hear my tone. I hope this young, fun, outgoing girl found love, but with such a lame description of herself, I'm sure the men she attracts are pretty dull. I would hope that she's independent because she has a lot coming her way in the next few months. I have so much respect for single moms.

I know single moms don't have the luxury of asking someone else to watch their child for a few minutes at any given time. I'm sure she's heard just how difficult it can be to take care of a baby, but she can't truly wrap her head around it until it's happening. I hope she's as independent and confident in a few months when she's running on zero sleep and has a screaming infant attached to her constantly.

She definitely won't have time to update her Tinder profile with pics that show how independent and strong she is. That's all she has to say about herself?? How is anyone supposed to know if it's something they feel like pursuing if the only information they have to go off of is her name, age, and the fact that she's pregnant? Oh and her looks I supposed, which are on point. She is gorgeous! Maybe that's why she didn't add more to her bio. She's probably used to showing a picture of herself and that's enough.

I don't think this pretty, young girl had any trouble finding someone before she got knocked up, but things might be a little different for her now. Not everyone is up for dating a young single mom.

When I was pregnant, the last place I expected to find myself was on Tinder. Honestly, I still wanted to be desired by the opposite sex and have that feeling of wondering what a date might lead to—a hookup, a holiday romance, a love affair—rather than letting my pregnancy turn me into someone who was OK with feeling overlooked. Plus, my posse of girlfriends was neatly divided between those who were shacked up with long-term partners and those who were still hitting the playing field hard. What I wanted was to enjoy digital dating before my days were filled with changing nappies and taking naps.

For the most part, women don't usually set out to get pregnant without a partner by their side.

Yeah, call me crazy or whatever… but I write this with not a drop of alcohol in my system, nor for that matter a hemorrhoid-stung crazed mother-to-be holding me to it at gunpoint! I write it because love can come calling anytime… even in the first trimester of pregnancy. Suggested read: I was 19 when I got my pregnancy terminated. She had sparkling emerald eyes, like the glimmer of a sheen of morning dew in sunshine. And yet, whenever she turned her head this way and that, trying to explain to me why the Indian constitution was a paradise for lawyers or how the political structure of the country was, perhaps, framed when the lawmakers were taking a dump, the lighting in the hall melted the green of her eyes, making the color run. Like the green that pushes its way through piles of gritty snow to announce the soon-arriving spring!

I started dating a girl that was pregnant. She was a friend of mine that I hadn't talked to in a long time. She had posted something on Facebook to which I replied to in a PM. A couple months later she called me out of the blue. We talked for 6 hours straight to my surprise. After a couple weeks of talking and learning that her babies father wasn't in the picture, we went on a date. It went good so we went on a second then a third.

About 11 years ago, I thought I had met Mr. He was fun and charming, and I was happy when I found out I was pregnant —that is, until I did some major digging and discovered he was also married, and had gotten another woman pregnant at the same time. But I was still interested in dating. Part of me wanted to get back out there to show my ex I had moved on, and it was fun and nice to have the emotional support of a partner every now and then. One of my friends set me up before she even knew I was pregnant, and I met guys at work and online. But once it reached that point, I was an open book.
