Dating while starting a business
One in four relationships start online in the UK today. Yet most people are still dissatisfied with the quality and targeting of the online dating sites out there. With the online dating business market continuing to grow year on year, the industry seems to have considerable scope for more targeted and localised approaches. Better to tap into the growing demand for niche dating. There are dating sites out there for niche interests such as dog lovers, heavy metal fans, gamers and My Little Pony fans. Stage and attitude to life situation approaches are other factors where people may want to focus their search.
The Biggest Dating Problem Entrepreneurs Have
Read how she did it below…. Well, my past relationships motivated me, and so did the future of finding people love and happiness. This is what motivated me the most to start Simplicity3. A year ago, I was lying on a beach in Turkey and had a call from two different friends both complaining about their experiences with online dating. For some reason, friends come to me frequently with dating disasters or relationship issues. So I decided to take it upon myself to do some in-depth research into the online dating industry and was quite shocked with what I found.
In the UK alone, the dating industry turns over 3. The more research I did, the more I could see a huge gap in such a saturated industry. I wanted to create a company that would be an honest brand with all the services and products you could possibly need to make your journey in finding that special someone in a way that is fun, personal, secure and, in turn, far more successful — and so I created Simplicity3. We put each member through brief verification checks, and we only want genuine people on our site, which is why were growing organically without any purchased databases.
Once a member is accepted, they have three packages to choose from to suit their lifestyle. I want my members to have one place to go for anything they need when it comes to dating, but also I want them to date confidently and in a secure environment. I researched the industry for three months while building my business plan. The last thing I wanted to do was to create something that had already been done. Instead of taking investment, I took money from my savings and my house, left my job and started designing the platform.
Word of mouth and social media, I still believe that word of mouth is a very powerful tool. Social media has also helped. Well, there have been many; if it were easy then surely everyone would be doing it. BUT my most major issue has been growing my site organically. I wanted genuine, like-minded people to come to the site because they were truly looking for something special. I love introducing people to one another. I also get to meet some really interesting people and people that have not had great relationships and need a confidence boost.
I think back to why I started Simplicity3. If I loose hope, then how can I really make a difference in this industry for my members. This alone keeps me motivated. If I could go back in time to when I was 20 I would tell myself…. Starting an Online Dating Agency. Join over , Female Entrepreneurs! Mindset to have about dating while building a business ?

True Tales Of Love And Startups: It's Called Being "Unavailable"
So many newbies in the entrepreneur world and seasoned entrepreneurs forget the main purpose of networking events. They just pitch, pitch, and pitch even more without building value. Think of it this way, would you pitch to a romantic interest to sell him or her on you or would you build value to show why you are a great fit for a partnership? As you are letting people know who you are, what you do, why you do it, and where you see yourself in 10 years, they can slowly begin to see value within you. What makes it even better is that when you ask the same questions back to them, more value is being built, and they will begin to like you. Think of it this way, although some of us are more thirsty for a romantic interest on the entrepreneur journey, you have to act as if you are just as thirsty for success. It all starts with building value and getting hydrated. As you are putting yourself out there more, be in the mindset to build value because the end goal should be for people to want to work with you. If you had met someone of a romantic interest, would you stay consistent in building value with them along with showing them reasons to want to be your partner?
Establishing your business in the marketplace, working weekends and believing in yourself also appeared among the challenges when finally making the decision to "go out on your own". What really shines through from our research, however, is that the freedom and fulfilment of running and growing your own business outweighs any trials and tribulations faced.
Startup entrepreneurs are not easy people to date. They have long and weird working hours. Many of them suck at communication. It's not unlikely that they have to leave in the middle of a date to solve a crisis back in the office.

We treat our companies like our babies and we struggle to decouple our business success and failure from our personal happiness and sadness. But who has time to make that happen? But many entrepreneurs start pursuing their business dreams so young early twenties , that, by the time they feel comfortable with the path their business is on, they realize that they are still somewhat alone while many of those around them have gotten married and started families.
An entrepreneur messaged me and asked if I knew of any resources that explain how entrepreneurs are wired. The purpose of this video is to have something your significant other can watch so they can better understand you. Perhaps you wonder if they even have mental problems! Entrepreneurs are often more sensitive because they take things more literally than everyone else. They think deeply, and feel what happened rather than just processing things intellectually. I dated several girls that from a logical perspective, probably made the best decision to not date me, because I was absolutely broke. Because of this, I had to sell them on why they should spend more time with me.
